A dyslexic writer from New Zealand

About

Hello dear interneter.

Welcome to my website. Unfortunately, it’s exactly that: a website. I can’t offer you a drink, take your coat or tell you there’s nuts in it when it’s far too late.

But I can show you some work and tell you a little about what it’s like to be a dyslexic writer. At times my spelling can look like a bowl of alphabet soup. Grammar nazis have done a Mike Tyson on my ears more than once. And after reading or writing for too long my brain feels like a block of cheddar.

So rest assured, it will always bother me far more than it will ever bother you.

I’ve spent nearly one third of my life at Wieden + Kennedy working as an advertising creative, primarily on Nike. Aside from that, I have experience working with clients such as Samsung, Instagram, Facebook, AB Inbev, Montblanc, Heineken, S7 Airlines and Mondelez to name only just a few.

Currently:

Writer at Wieden + Kennedy, Amsterdam since 2014.

Previously:

Writer at DDB, New Zealand from 2012 to 2014.

Sandwich Artist at Subway Sandwiches one summer.

I once had a piece of work that made a kid named Naam the coolest kid in school. His mum told us. And I think that’s the loviest thing ever.
